„Odabrana ekipa krenula je na put u sljedećem sastavu: Magdalena Muha i Tibor Kakuk u konkurenciji do 8 godina; Mihaela Blažeka i Teo Tomulić do 10; Tamara Ljikar i Bruno Pavčević do 12; Tajana Turk i Božidar Iveković do 14; Patricija Vujnović, Matija Ostović, Jurica Srbiš i Mario Muškardin do 16; Ana Iveković, Ivona Purgar i Matej Blažeka do 18 godina, te treneri Srđan Šale i Blažimir Kovačević.
Gotovo 1500 mladih igrača spremnih za borbu na crno-bijelim poljima. Redale su se pobjede i porazi. Ritam dana bio je prilično ujednačen i zahtjevan. Gledajući arhivu prethodnih natjecanja ponosno sam zaključila da je ona s ovogodišnjim rezultatom najbolje plasirana djevojčica dvije najmladje dobne skupine koje je Hrvatska imala proteklih 5 godina na svjetskim i europskim natjecanjima, i medju bolje plasiranim curicama uopće. Za nas veliki uspjeh.

Na kraju, želim zahvaliti svima koji su nam pomogli da Magdalena ode na ovo natjecanje. Brdalu; koji su zajednicki prikupili jos 5000 kuna. Na koncu hvala i gradu Zagrebu koji je u posljednji trenutak pronašao dodatna sredstva i uplatio nam još 5400 kuna preko kluba Zagreb. Sav novac koji je preostao nakon plaćanja troškova Svjetskog prvenstva već je usmjeren na nekoliko drugih Magdaleninih turnira, kao što je bilo prvenstvo Hrvatske za osmogodišnjake u Zadru, kada je osvojila drugo mjesto, te nadolazeće Valpovo i Djakovo. Nadalje, hvala svim dragim ljudima koji su Magdaleni čestitali na njezinom uspjehu, jer je dijete to zaista i zaslužilo i puno joj je značilo!
